Located in the south of France, on a high plateau somewhere North of Montpellier is the site of the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Europe. Currently there are over 200 hundred students in a traditional three year closed retreat. Additionally rereats and seminars are offered at various levels each summer under the direction of Sogyal Rinpoche, author of the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying and one of the foremost interpreters of Tibetan Buddhism to the west.
Masters from all traditions have visited and taught here, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama in the year 2000 to an audience of over 10.000.
